December was one of the worst months we have seen since the financial crisis. 2018 was a year where the stock market has hit “bear market” territory for the first time since the great recession, and many scary headlines have been coming out as of late. Take a few minutes and watch this video to hear our thoughts…

Although the facts show us that we are technically in a “bear market” due to the market being 20% off from its recent highs, we are still in a 10-year uptrend. It is all relative, how do these market changes affect you personally?

General Electric is an excellent example of how things are changing around the world. GE has seen many changes over the last couple of years including being removed from the DOW in June of 2018. It was the last original member of the index with over a century of being included in the DOW. They have seen a poor market performance and dividend cuts over the last couple of years.

Are you concerned about what is going on in the stock market? Is it impacting you now or are you worried about how it is going to affect you in the future?
